You will earn one trophy when you first start a character's route after chapter 8 and a second when you obtain their true ending. The best responses aren't always obvious so if necessary, refer to the trophy guide itself for each character. You can use the quicksave ( ) at every choice and use quickload ( ) to reload if necessary or use the rewind feature ( then to navigate to a line prior to the choice) and select a different response. If the character disagrees with you or the resulting scene feels like it's been cut a bit short or the resolution is somewhat unsatisfying, then you probably chose incorrectly. Also try to avoid getting too close to any of the other characters. As a general rule, spend as much time as possible with the character, take their side in debates and give answers that seem to fit with their personality. True endings are achieved if you make all the right responses for a particular character from Chapter 9 onward. If you get a bad ending you can reload a saved game prior to that decision.
